Awareness
Understanding the nervous system—and learning to recognize how well our own systems are being maintained—is the foundation of sustainable wellbeing. Awareness helps us notice what supports or depletes our capacity before crisis.
A Community Wellness Initiative
ARCH advances prevention through awareness, nervous system regulation, education, and community connection—bringing practical tools and experiences upstream into the places people live, work, learn, and gather.
Work With ARCHWhat We Believe
Too often, we wait until stress becomes depletion, disengagement becomes burnout, or struggle becomes crisis—we wait until after the damage is done before we respond. ARCH believes wellbeing should begin much earlier: in the conditions, communities, and organizations where people already live and work.
Wellbeing is not a personal achievement.
It is a collective condition.
And it begins long before crisis.
It begins upstream.
The ARCH Framework
Three interconnected principles that guide everything ARCH does.
Understanding the nervous system—and learning to recognize how well our own systems are being maintained—is the foundation of sustainable wellbeing. Awareness helps us notice what supports or depletes our capacity before crisis.
Regulation is the capacity to return to balance. ARCH creates experiences and environments that build this capacity—individually and collectively—helping make restoration and nervous system maintenance part of everyday life.
Health is relational. When communities are connected, informed, and supported, individuals thrive. ARCH works at the intersection of personal wellbeing and collective resilience.
“Upstream, not downstream.”
How ARCH Creates Change
ARCH works across multiple channels—bringing awareness, regulation, and nervous system maintenance upstream into organizations, communities, and public life through programs, partnerships, and purposeful engagement.
Workplace education and experiences that build nervous system literacy and explore how regulation, recovery, and sustainable capacity influence people, culture, and organizational performance.
Place-based programs that bring upstream wellness into neighborhoods, schools, and civic life.
Accessible education, events, and resources that bring nervous system awareness and practical regulation into everyday life.
Gatherings designed to model what regulated, connected community feels like in practice.
Collaborative inquiry into what works — building an evidence base for upstream approaches.
Strategic alliances with organizations that share ARCH's commitment to prevention and community health.
Events that generate resources and visibility for the mission while demonstrating its principles.
Thought leadership and advisory work that helps organizations integrate upstream wellness thinking.
Who ARCH Works With
ARCH partners with organizations and individuals who understand that healthy communities require intentional investment — before crisis, not after. Whether you lead a company, a school, a foundation, or a neighborhood, ARCH can work with you.

Founder
Tammy Schwinegruber is the founder of ARCH, where her work explores how greater awareness of the nervous system—and more intentional maintenance of it—can be brought upstream into everyday life, organizations, and communities.
Her work spans community wellness, restorative experience design, education, speaking, and the relationship between regulation, sustainable performance, and how we live and work.
She is also the founder of Royal Retreatments, an experiential brand exploring emotional longevity through elevated restorative experiences.
